Part 1: Why are the farmers protesting in India?

Farmer unions across India are protesting against the new farm bills which eases the regulations on corporates in agricultural sector.

The government has called the reforms historic and claims it would increase the farmers' income by opening their doors to the free market.  

But farmers have denounced the reforms saying, it would help the corporates and not them.
