Freedom of press in debate again as online news portals, Prime, Netflix are brought under the I&B ministry

The center has brought all online news portals and OTT platforms under the Information and Broadcasting ministry saying, there is a need to regulate these platforms as a lot of violence causing content is being spread online. But critics point this could further curb freedom of press and freedom of expression in the country.
